Cannabidiol (“CBD”) has long been recognized as a pain and anxiety-reducing substance, therapeutic in its ability to promote well-being. The USA CBD Expo is set to resume in-person gathering with its three-day internationally networked trade show planned for June in Atlanta. Business can now finally get done at the event face-face. The USA CBD Expo is recognized as the largest CBD / hemp trade show in the United States. Its last show, held just prior to the closure of public events as a result of COVID’s spread last year, drew 10,000 attendees to Las Vegas along with about 300 vendors from the United States and Europe, according to the company (https://ibn.fm/a2aE4). 

The expo establishes its first day and a half as a B2B-only networking and investment-friendly get-together, followed by the second half of the event’s demos, buying opportunities, seminars and keynote speakers.

Most of the seminars will focus on the business side of the CBD and hemp industry, CBD market trends, health benefits, legality issues and medicinal use. Professionals with expertise in brand consultancy, agricultural productivity and tourism will be among the featured speakers.

Some of the presenters are from the Atlanta area itself and familiar with the state’s approach to cannabis legislation. Georgia is something of an island in the cannabis culture amid neighboring states that continue to regard the plant as not subject for legalization, although Florida, like Georgia, has legalized medical use of CBD for patients with select conditions.

Exhibitor booth space on the floor of the Georgia World Congress Center venue is 90% sold out but there are still opportunities available, including several near the concessions and main stage area.

The layout of the floorplan is designed to be responsive to COVID-19 health and safety guidelines, and the event itself will of course require attendees to adopt local health safety protocols.

The Georgia World Congress Center is the third-largest convention center in the United States and was accustomed to hosting more than a million visitors per year in the pre-COVID era. It is located in downtown Atlanta near hotel accommodations, and is served by public transportation.
