FingerMotion (NASDAQ: FNGR) outlined the strategic plan developed by new management with BlueFlare Energy Solutions Inc. for building behind-the-meter (“BTM”) artificial intelligence (“AI”) and high-performance computing (“HPC”) infrastructure in North America. The strategy is designed around modular, on-site natural gas generation to reduce dependence on utility interconnection queues and align infrastructure deployment with contracted enterprise demand. Under the contemplated framework announced in June, BlueFlare would serve as FingerMotion primary development partner across Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan, providing capabilities spanning site origination, design, engineering, construction, power generation, load management and ongoing support.
The strategy follows FingerMotion Aug. 17 acquisition of a 9.9% equity interest in Lyken AI Computing Inc., which management describes as its first executed step toward becoming an owner-operator of enterprise AI compute capacity in North America. FingerMotion views Lyken as a potential path to enterprise workloads and managed services while BlueFlare provides the development and power infrastructure. The company said investors can measure progress through four principal milestones — site control, power, customers and project-level capital — while emphasizing that no site control, FingerMotion customer offtake or project financing has yet been announced. FingerMotion plans to develop the infrastructure business alongside its existing mobile payment, recharge and data-analytics operations in China.
