According to a BDSA report, the state’s medical cannabis market has been projected to reach $1.5 billion in sales in 2021, which would be a 53% increase compared to 2020 numbers; the same report noted that, with both recreational and medical cannabis expected to be legal in Florida by 2023, the market is forecast to total $2.6 billion by 2026.
