Ideanomics (NASDAQ: IDEX), a global company focused on accelerating the commercial adoption of electric vehicles, is planning to open its first-ever electric vehicle (“EV”) experience center by the end of the year. The 48,500-square-foot facility, located in New Jersey, will be used for assembly, engineering, product development and production, as well as a 4,000-square-foot showroom where the company will showcase its full line of vehicles and charging options. The new center will support product development and scalable production of new and existing products across a wide range of electrification solutions as well as create up to 100 new jobs for the states. In addition, Ideanomics noted that its operating companies Solectrac and WAVE are growing their California and Utah facilities respectively. This growth is attributed to a growing market demand for electric ag-tech and inductive charging. “We are pleased to announce our first EV experience enter in New Jersey , which will open by the end of 2022,” said Ideanomics CEO Alf Poor in the press release. “The new facility will increase our ability to manufacture and showcase industry-leading products.
