Daley began his career at Chase Manhattan Bank before spending more than a decade at Marc Rich + Co AG (now Glencore Xstrata Plc.), working his way to becoming partner and global head of crude oil trading, where he managed an estimated 1 million barrels per day of physical crude oil trading.
