First Energy Metals (CSE: FE) (OTCQB: FEMFF), a publicly traded Canadian mineral exploration company, has released garb and channel samples results from exploration work at its Valor prospect on the Augustus Lithium Property in Quebec. According to the announcement, the channel sampling cut a 14-meter-wide section with an average of 0.70% lithium oxide (“Li2O”), including eight meters of spodumene pegmatite with 1.14% LI20. The report also noted anomalous values of other rare elements, including cesium, rubidium, niobium and tantalum. The company also observed that four selected channel samples taken from the Valor and Lac La Motte NE prospects showed assays up to 3.14% Li2O. The company explained that it conducted the sampling to both confirm historical exploration work results and develop future work programs on these lithium prospects. Included in the study were four samples and two channels on the Valor Prospect and Lac La Motte NE Showing. Information included in the company’s announcement was reviewed and approved by Afzaal Pirzada, PGeo, a geological consultant and a “qualified person” for the purposes of National Instrument 43-101, Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects. The company also noted that it has finalized a nonbrokered private placement totaling $2,200,000, resulting from the sale of up to 8,800,000 units sold at $0.25 per unit.
