Clean Power Capital (CSE: MOVE) (FWB: 2K6) (OTC: MOTNF), an investment company, has released an update on PowerTap Hydrogen Fueling Corp. Clean Power invested in PowerTap earlier this year. PowerTap is currently working to complete its newest design of a patented onsite hydrogen production and dispensing technology designed for use in the North American hydrogen-vehicle market. This third-generation version includes significant advantages over earlier PowerTap units as well as other hydrogen-fueling technologies available in the space. For instance, the station can go live in mere weeks and can be fully assembled and tested prior to delivery, bypassing the need for city planning processes. The modular design provides for Underwriters Laboratories UL approval, reducing the number of onsite inspections needed. In addition, the technology provides for mass production of stations as well as future upgrades in capacity and storage, key elements as demand for these stations increases. The design for the station is less than half the size of the closest competitor, making it easy to relocate if necessary. Finally, the design is capable of supporting new hydrogen production technologies. “PowerTap’s patented, onsite blue hydrogen generating fuel station technology is the right solution for today’s lack of hydrogen fueling infrastructure,” said PowerTap COO Kelley Owen in the press release. “PowerTap plans to roll out hydrogen fueling stations to meet the USA’s public hydrogen fueling station increased demand. Our new modular design will allow us to deploy our stations rapidly starting in 2021.
