The study, conducted under the direction of Shay Bracha, DVM, MS, DACVIM (Oncology), evaluated Telomir-Zn in one human and two canine osteosarcoma models, with the results supporting further translational investigation and a potential development pathway using naturally occurring canine osteosarcoma.
Telomir is in discussions with The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and assessing next steps for a potential in vivo efficacy study in canine osteosarcoma, which could support both veterinary development and translational advancement toward human osteosarcoma. The company said its immediate focus remains its triple-negative breast cancer program, which is advancing toward site initiation and Phase 1/2 patient enrollment under an active FDA-cleared IND for advanced or metastatic TNBC.
